Soup of the Day
The red pepper and tomato soup was absolutely delicious and should be a regular menu item.

Macallan 12
One of the top ten whiskeys as scored by thousands of tasters. It is one of the smoothest whiskies and should be appreciated slowly. Good for any level of whiskey enthusiest.
Angel's Envy
A light, fruity bourbon sponsored by the Gun and Garden Club. Hints of vanilla, black cherry. Nice bourbon for noobs, but nice enough for regulars.
Crawfish Tortellini
Laissez les bons temps rouler! The Crawfish Tortellini are just another reason why my New Year's resolution is to visit 'The Copper Door' more often in 2023. We are so fortunate to have a Michelin Star- deserving restaurant in our own little town of Hayesville, NC! Filet Mignon
We so enjoy the filet mignon you serve. It is done to perfection and the meat is just delicious. We have tried many other choices all of which are wonderful. The whole experience from service, to wines, to dinner is well done. We are going back again in February.
Shrimp Creole
Absolutely delicious. Best Shrimp Creole ever, I believe.....pleasant/comfortable venue made the complete dining experience remarkable. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu, both food and wine. I would sign up to be a VIP - but, I was there as a visitor. Don't know that I will be there very often. I was there New Year's eve with great friends. So happy we did this!
Woodford Reserve
An excellent smooth bourbon with a complex bouquet and excellent color. Not a bourbon for noobs. The small batch is outstanding while the cask strength is an even better sipping experience.
Filet Mignon
My husband treated my family and myself to a very special New Year's Eve dinner. We started with appetizers of the sunburst salad and escargot. Both delish. Then the main course of the filet and shrimp. The filet melted in your mouth. We had to save room for dessert, the chocolate decadence. Oh my ... I think it was the best dessert we have ever had. Words can't describe the Copper Door Restaurant, as it is beautiful from the moment you walk in to the last step on the way out. Thank you for making our night with such a fabulous dinner. It is our new favorite place.
Filet Mignon
My boyfriend and I came to Copper Door while we were staying near Hayesville at his family's mountain house for the weekend. We sat in the bar area. The bartender was very kind and fast paced. I ordered the crawfish tortellini and he ordered the filet with a sea scallop. You always hear the saying "if you can cut it with a fork, it's good" but we could literally cut his filet with a fork. The seasoning was amazing. The sea scallop was so fresh it almost had a marshmallow texture. The bread was like biting into air. We also started with the Oyster Shooters for $1 each. Great deal and the oysters were large and FRESH. Everything was amazing. Already have our reservations booked for New Years weekend. Can't wait to go back.
