In the quaint town of Hayesville, North Carolina, The Copper Door holds a spot among the Top 100 Restaurants in America, as voted by Open Table Diners. The Appalachian mountains form the backdrop of this historic town and the area is rich with lake views, waterfalls, Native American culture and talented artisans of every kind.
The cuisine at The Copper Door is influenced by classic French techniques with a good dose of south Louisiana flavors blended in. The Copper Door features 100% Black Angus Steaks from the northern plains, grown naturally with no hormones. Fresh seafood from Louisiana, the Caribbean, East Coast and Scottish waters are also staples on the menu.
The Copper Door offers a four course prix fixe menu for sixty-five dollars per person, exclusive of gratuity. Supplemental items are available as substitutions and the supplement price will be added to the base price. Beverages are additional. Twenty percent gratuity is added to the total bill.
We offer a separate a la carte bar menu available only in the bar and for to go orders that includes our signature steaks, fish, and appetizers including shrimp and oyster shooters.
