"Excellent"
"This restaurant in the middle of nowhere was a pleasant surprise. We are from a city known for good food and this place would flourish here. From appetizers to dessert was a great meal."
"A true find. Big city quality in a beautiful small quaint town. Stopped by with the intention of just having a drink and maybe an appetizer - but stayed for dinner and dessert. High quality, beautiful restaurant with very attentive staff, the menu consist of everything from first rate appetizers (warm brie, shrimp etc.) to filet and surf and turf. We had the filet with butter garlic sauce and red snapper special. Both were well presented and delicious. Drinks were generous. Everything about the place was first rate and very reasonable. If you find yourself nearby - make an effort to enjoy this place."
"Went to the Copper Door for the first time recently. The ambiance in the room had an intimate feel. It is dark inside, but I felt it was right for the place. We started with the crabcake. The sauces with it were fantastic. Probably one of the best crabcakes I've ever had. The house and caesar salads were delightful. My entree was crawfish tortellini. It was awesome. Pasta was perfectly cooked. The sauce very delicious and the crawfish was amazing. My husband had the surf n turf. Filet mignon with scallops. Great tasting steak. Probably one of the best dining experiences we've had up here!"
"The Copper Door is a great restaurant hidden away in Hayesville, NC. The food rivals that of some of the top restaurants in Atlanta. The menu is not overly long and has something for everyone. Meats, fish and vegetables were all cooked to perfection. The wine list is well thought out with some interesting choices. Service was attentive knowledgeable, but not intrusive. The dining room decor is pleasant with wood paneling and a large stone fireplace."
"Absolutely wonderful food, impressive and attentive service (without being intrusive), comfy ambiance. The best fine dining value in Clay and Town counties. Six of us had dinner and every entree got rave reviews. We will all be back. "
